In a modern world where humans, yokai, and many other species coexist, Satoru works as the manager of an apartment building. Among his tenants is Mifuyu, a widowed snow woman whom he has secretly grown fond of. But when Satoru accidentally angers her, he desperately searches for a way to make things right.
He eventually turns to a mysterious “cursed ring” said to make communication with yokai easier. However, instead of simply helping them understand each other, the ring seems to have an unexpected effect on Mifuyu, who suddenly becomes remarkably forward and begins closing the distance between them.
A socially awkward snow woman and a young human man who wants nothing more than to support her are drawn together by the strange power of the ring. As their relationship grows increasingly intimate, they must discover what truly lies behind the ring—and what fate awaits them once its influence brings them closer than either ever expected.
